Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor the Accounting Associate will provide Accounts Payable support to the entire company.
Responsibilities:
- Code and input A/P invoices from vendors
- Obtain authorization and pay invoices
- Prepare month-end accruals
- Analyze and reconcile accounts by researching and identifying errors in posting and omissions in completing individual transactions
- Receive, research and resolve a variety of internal and external supplier and customer inquiries concerning account status
- Resolve vendor account discrepancies
- Assist in the performance of audits by compiling information and reports for examiners
- Review information collected in reply to auditor's request for data

| Requirements:
|
- High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
- Five or more years of previous A/P experience (manufacturing or Biotech preferred), showing a progression of roles and responsibilities
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of the Accounts Payable and Receiveable cycles
- General experience with integrated accounting packages
- Strong computer skills, specifically with SAP, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Motivated Team Player
